Sun Peaks Resort is a world-renowned downhill skiing destination in British Columbia. With a vertical drop of 881m, it offers excellent snow conditions against the stunning backdrop of the coastal rainforest, Rocky Mountains, interior plateau.

From Vancouver, the drive is approximately 45 minutes. GPS: 50.0°N, 119.6°W. Mountain roads — winter tires mandatory from October to April. Carry chains. Airport shuttle available from the nearest regional airport. Road conditions can change rapidly — check DriveBC/511 before departure.
Stationnement et accès
Large paved parking lots at the base area — free on weekdays, $10-20 on peak weekends. Overflow parking with shuttle service on busy days. RV overnight parking available with advance booking.

Vertical drop: 881m. The mountain features a mix of groomed runs, glades, bowls, and alpine terrain. Tree skiing is excellent on storm days. Aspect: Multiple aspects mean you can find good conditions throughout the day. Base elevation: 1,500-2,500m.

Lift tickets or season passes required. Book online for best rates. Respect all signage — closed areas are closed for safety reasons. Poaching closed terrain can result in pass revocation. Uphill travel policies vary — check with the resort before skinning up. Follow the Skier's Responsibility Code at all times.
