How to Get There

From Vancouver, the drive is approximately 1.5-2 hours heading north into the bush. GPS: 49.8°N, 115.5°W. Access roads are maintained but can be rough in late fall. ATVs are useful for accessing deeper hunting zones.

Best Time to Visit

Primary season: September - October. Early season (September) offers warm weather but bugs — bring repellent and patience. The rut period (late October to mid-November) is prime time for big game — bucks are active and responsive to calls. Late season hunts (November-December) can be brutally cold but offer the best trophy potential. Dawn and dusk are the most productive hours — plan to be in position 30 minutes before legal shooting time.

The hunting area covers coastal rainforest, Rocky Mountains, interior plateau terrain with mixed hardwood and softwood forest providing excellent cover and browse.
