From Dawson City, head north — the drive takes approximately 3-5 hours. GPS coordinates: 61.1°N, 137.8°W. The final stretch is on gravel road — high-clearance vehicle recommended during spring thaw. Cell service is generally available until the last 15 minutes of the drive.
Stationnement et accès
Gravel pull-off area with space for 8-10 vehicles. Cartop boat launch only — no trailer ramp. Parking is free year-round. Multiple shore fishing spots are accessible from the parking area. Arrive early on weekends during peak season — the lot fills up by 7 AM.

Spring (May-June): Post-ice-out is prime time for Lake Trout. Water temperatures are ideal and fish are actively feeding after the long winter.
Summer (July-August): Switch to early morning and late evening bites. Deep water trolling produces best results.
Fall (September-October): Arguably the best season — cooler water triggers aggressive feeding. Fewer crowds and excellent catch rates.
Winter: Ice fishing is productive from January through March. Check ice conditions with local outfitters.

Maximum depth: 158m. The lake bottom features a mix of gravel beds, submerged timber, and weed beds that provide excellent habitat structure. The surrounding landscape is subarctic wilderness with dense tree cover right to the shoreline. Water clarity is moderate — 1-3 metres visibility depending on season. The eastern bay is shallow — use caution with motor boats.
