From Saint John, head east — the drive takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. GPS coordinates: 46.8°N, 66.0°W. The final stretch is on gravel road — high-clearance vehicle recommended during spring thaw. Cell service becomes spotty about 30 minutes before arrival.

Gravel pull-off area with space for 8-10 vehicles. Cartop boat launch only — no trailer ramp. Parking is free year-round. Shore fishing access is available along the eastern bank. Arrive early on weekends during peak season — the lot fills up by 7 AM.

Fall (September-October): Arguably the best season — cooler water triggers aggressive feeding. Fall colours make this an especially scenic time to visit.
Winter: Ice fishing is productive from January through March. Check ice conditions with local outfitters.

Maximum depth: 78m. The lake bottom features a mix of rocky shoals, sand flats, and deep drop-offs that provide excellent habitat structure. The surrounding landscape is Appalachian uplands with dense tree cover right to the shoreline. Water clarity is excellent — 3-5 metres visibility in summer. Watch for submerged rocks near the northern shore.

A valid New Brunswick fishing licence is required for all anglers 16 and older. Licences can be purchased online through the provincial government website or at local tackle shops.
